I hope this is the last test...

    It works.

Oh good... I'm just testing out the Synchronet message editor. Damn has it been awhile since I've used it... :)

There are a few great 3rd party message editor for synchronet.

I know there are. I think it was ice-edit that I used when I ran Synchronet.
I don't use that system enough to take the time to change it... ;)

I've actually been trying to get an areafix message back from hpt to that system, and it doesn't seem to be working right. The response messages end up in my netmail on Mystic, but don't get sent out... I think I need to add a
    'hpt pack' command somewhere...

Doh... Found where they were going... Read the damn log files... <smack>

I didn't update my routing so they are getting sent to 77:1/100. <another smack>

Another <smack> for good measure... ;)

I think you need to add the following to your husky config

    route crash 77:77/10 77:77/10

Your system is routing netmail for 77:77/10 to my system instead of it ending up on yours. I am seeing it in my logs.

    A few other things...

Have you setup a robot entry in hpt to accept areafix requests? Something
    like this:

    robot Areafix
    helpFile /home/frank/husky/config/areafix.hlp
    robotOrigin "% disksh0p!bbs % bbs.diskshop.ca % SciNet ftn hq %"
    fromName "Areafix"

Yup. That I had in there. Except, mine doesn't say '/home/frank/husky...'. It says '/home/dan/husky...' ;)

    robot AreaFix
    RobotNames AreaFix, AreaMgr
robotOrigin "CRBBS Areafix - Powered by Husky HPT! "
    fromName "CRBBS Areafix"

I do think that I need to edit my *.hlp files, as they came through double-spaced... It doesn't look good...

I edited mine, customized more to SciNet and my liking.

I was just about to test again. I hope it was the 79 column lines that were causing it to double space... It might be a Synchronet thing too...

I figured it out... I was using Notepadqq to edit them, and saved them with
EOL set to Windows format... I changed that to Linux/OSX format, and it looks fine now... See, I don't even use Windows anymore, and it's still giving me problems... :)

Seeing as you are running Linux, you should install unix2dos and then convert whatever you edited through it so that it converts the text document to dos standard CR and LF's. That will fix your double spacing issue.
