• FREQ

I have been working on getting FREQ's working properly with multiple aka's. Most software out there is old and doesn't support multiple networks.

I have been working on the code of some older software so that the response from my system will use the appropriate aka based on who is requesting the file.

I need some help testing (I know, what a shocker).

I would like someone to FREQ something from my system via their SciNet
address. You can FREQ FILES which will give you a file list from my system. I have a few other aliases like SCINODE (SciNet Nodelist), SCIINFO (SciNet Info Pack), etc.

If you don't know how to FREQ, all you need to do is drop a file named something.req (you can call it whatever, as long as the extension is .req)
into your filebox for my system.

This file should have the FREQ name in it, one per line. Something like this:

    FILES
    SCIINFO
    SCINODE

The above should have my system drop ds_files.txt, sciinfo.zip and scinet.z## in your inbound.

I'm working on some software that will allow nodes to join interbbs games themselves. For example: Someone will FREQ BRE with their node number and
maybe their binkp password and my system will add them to the brnodes.dat
file, send them the updated brnodes.dat file and then make sure that all the current connected systems get an updated copy of the brnodes.dat file.

    Looks about right.

You should have also received a netmail message. What does that say?
